WARRANTY AND RETURN POLICIES
Bettor Slots sells a wide variety of goods from used to new, as-is parts complete, and refurbished. As a result policies vary from item to item with regards to our "Warranty and Return Policy" as follows. If the Buyer would like the item insured for shipping they must contact us via email or phone prior to placing order.
Casino Retired Refurbished Slot Machines
Unless otherwise specified in the items description, the casino retired slot machines we sell are refurbished to working order, the battery(s) are newly replaced, and they are detail cleaned. In extreme cases aesthetic parts are replaced. Our refurbished machines include a one year working order warranty from the date of Buyer's receipt excluding expendables and LCD or CRT monitors. Expendables are defined as batteries, light bulbs, ticket printer paper, and button bulbs. In addition Bettor Slots warrants casino used LCD's for a period of 90 days and CRT monitors for a period of 30 days from the date of delivery or pickup. We will assist our customer to replace at the best possible price in the very rare case that one should go bad. In the event any other item fails during the warranty period (i.e. board, power supply, bill validator, printer, back plane, and ballast) within the first year of use, Bettor Slots will replace the item including the cost of shipping of the replacement part. Also included is lifetime telephone tech support to aid the Buyer from natural failures that can occur over time including but not limited to battery, board, power supply, and ballast failures. After the first year of use from the date of receipt the Buyer is responsible for the cost of replacement parts if necessary including shipping expense.
The Buyer should expect normal wear on the machine from its casino use and transport over the years. This includes but not limited to worn chrome, scratches on glass, faded or damaged reel strips, chips or scratches on the cabinet, monitor ghosting, monitor fade or hazing, display fade, and interior component oxidation. Detailed pictures (and occasionally videos) are provided to the Buyer prior to purchase so they can fully see what they are buying. All casino retired refurbished slot machine sales are final and returns are not accepted. At Bettor Slots discretion in some instances where the Buyer requests within 7 days of receipt of their machine, we may consider an exchange to another machine of equal or lesser value. In those cases all freight expense would be the responsibility of the Buyer.
Casino Retired As-is Slot Machines
Unless otherwise specified in the items description, the casino retired as-is machines we sell are sold as pictured and as described in their advertising. They are NOT tested or cleaned. All casino as-is machines we sell are final and returns are not accepted. Further we DO NOT provide technical support of any kind on these items.
Slot Machine Used Parts
Slot machine used parts are separated into two (2) categories, "aesthetic" and "electronic", and as a result the warranty and return policies differ from each type. Aesthetic parts are defined as all items that do not require power to operate, i.e., plastic bezels, frames, metal housings, and chrome parts. Electronic parts are defined as any part that requires a power to operate and function.
Unless otherwise specified in the items description, "aesthetic" parts will be sold as described and per the provided detailed pictures. Aesthetic parts may be returned at the Buyer's expense for a refund of the purchase price (minus original shipping costs) when requested within 7 days of receipt. Naturally there is no long term warranty on used aesthetic parts. As is typical with all used aesthetic parts, the Buyer should expect possible color fading, surface damage, and surface scratches.
Unless otherwise specified in the items description, "electronic" parts will be sold as described and per the provided detailed pictures. Due to the nature of used "electronic" parts and their use by potential inexperienced Buyers, they are sold as-is, tested working, without warranty, and are not returnable. All used electronic slot parts we sell are machine tested, stress tested, and well packaged prior to shipping. Bettor Slots cannot be responsible for incorrect handling or use of a electronic parts. Further, as other possibly bad components within a machine could actually damage the part being sent, Bettor Slots cannot be responsible for this scenario. Finally, Bettor Slots in not in business to provide parts to a customer "on loan" for problem machine troubleshooting purposes.
NOTE - purchase of used parts from Bettor Slots does not constitute technical support to the Buyer. Bettor Slots provides technical support only to customers that purchased refurbished machines.
Clear Card and Key Chip Sales
Unless otherwise specified in the items description, clear card and key chip sales are final, without warranty, and not returnable. Clear cards and key chips are tested prior to shipment to the Buyer and we cannot be responsible for incorrect use. We also cannot support Buyers that wish to use a clear card or key chip one time to perform an operation and then return for a credit right after use. Telephone technical support with regards to use is provided with the purchase, however troubleshooting other problems with your machine is not. Slot Machine Used Software
Unless otherwise specified in the items description, slot machine software sales are final, without warranty, and not returnable. All software we sell is tested prior to shipment to the Buyer and we cannot be responsible for incorrect handling or use. Telephone technical support with regards to use is provided with the purchase, however troubleshooting other problems with your machine is not. Please email to schedule an appointment if necessary to properly install your software purchase.
Slot Machine Used Glass
Unless otherwise specified in the items description, casino used glass (which includes but not limited to machine glass or plexi-glass panels, legends, topper inserts, and the like) will be sold as described and per the provided detailed pictures. Casino used glass may be returned at the Buyer's expense for a refund of the purchase price (minus original shipping costs) when requested within 7 days of receipt. Naturally there is no long term warranty on used slot machine glass panels. As is typical with all used glass panels, the Buyer should expect possible image fading, surface damage on the image itself, and surface scratches on the glass or plexi-glass.
Bettor TITO
Bettor TITO products are warranted for a period of one-year from the date of receipt. If a Bettor TITO board or its included components fail at anytime during the warranty period, it may be returned or abandoned at Bettor Slots Company's discretion and expense. A replacement component will be shipped to the Buyer at Bettor Slots expense via USPS Priority mail. The warranty period does not reset on the date of component replacement receipt but rather is held from the date of original purchase receipt.
Gifts & Gear
Products available on our "Gifts & Gear" may be new, used, or refurbished as advertised in the items description. All items on this section of our site may be returned at the Buyer's expense for a refund of the purchase price (minus original shipping costs) when requested within 7 days of receipt. No products sold on the Gifts & Gear page include any warranty unless otherwise indicated in the items description.
Returns Requirements
In all cases where returns are allowed, The Buyer is responsible for proceeding as follows:
> The Buyer shall first contact Bettor Slots prior to return shipping to request directions for return, receive a RMA number, and correct return address.
> The Buyer shall properly package the item for ship, equal to the manner in which it arrived.
> The Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. Further, the Buyer must use a shipping method that is trackable, i.e. USPS Priority, UPS Ground, or FedEx Ground.
> The item(s) returned must arrive in the same condition in which they were advertised and shipped to the Buyer. Anything returned damaged or otherwise not equal to that originally shipped will not be accepted and no refund will be applied. The Buyer at that stage has the option to abandon the item for have it returned to them at their own expense.
